  • Woodward Cracks Fortune 1000 List
    • "Woodward Inc. (Nasdaq: WWD) made the 2024 Fortune 1000 list of the country’s largest public companies.  The Fort Collins company that designs, manufactures and services energy-conversion and control solutions for the aerospace and industrial equipment markets was 907th in the magazine’s rankings."   • Sphere Renewables Expands Operations in Fort Lupton, Colorado
    • " Sphere Renewables, a leader in manufacturing and distribution to the renewable energy industry, proudly announced a significant expansion of its operations in Colorado with a ribbon cutting at their new facility in Fort Lupton. The construction of this new 43,000 square foot facility will serve as Sphere Renewables’ U.S. headquarters for its Colorado operations, showcasing the company’s commitment to its mission of reducing costs of energy by improving efficiencies through local manufacturing solutions."   • Windsor Tops State in Population Growth
    • "Half of Colorado’s fastest-growing communities with populations of 20,000 or more lie in Northern Colorado, with Windsor topping the list." (Bizwest)
  • Jobless Claims Jump to Highest Level in 10 Months
    • " Initial jobless claims surged by 13,000 — to 242,000 — in the week ending June 8, the Labor Department said Thursday.  That’s the highest level of claims since last August. Economists polled by The Wall Street Journal had estimated new claims would fall to 225,000. " (MarketWatch)
  • Wholesale Prices Unexpectedly Fell 0.2% in May
    • "The producer price index, a gauge of prices that producers get for their goods and services in the open market, declined 0.2% for the month against expectations for a 0.1% increase." (CNBC)
  • Consumer Inflation Continues to Moderate in Denver
    • "Prices rose 2.6% year-over-year in May in the Consumer Price Index for Denver-Aurora-Lakewood. That is below the annual increase of 3.3% measured nationally and down from the 5.1% annual rate seen in May 2023." (Denver Post)
