Ryan is the Chief Executive Officer of NAI Affinity and Manager of Affinity Partners, LLC. The Affinity Real Estate Partners family of companies includes NAI Affinity, a Northern Colorado based commercial real estate brokerage that is part of the NAI global network, and Affinity Partners, LLC, a real estate investment and development company with past or present assets across multiple states, ranging from California to Kansas.
Over the course of his 20+ year career, Ryan has brokered hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of transactions including residential and commercial land, investment sales, industrial facilities, anchor retailer transactions, restaurants, corporate offices and medical buildings. Notable examples include completed transactions involving CaliberCo, Inc., Swire Coca-Cola, Gerrard Development, Thompson Ranch Development Co., United Properties, UC Health’s Medical Center of the Rockies, and The Promenade Shops at Centerra Lifestyle Center.
Previously, Ryan co-founded Chrisland, Inc. in November 2003. Chrisland, Inc. changed its name to Affinity Real Estate Partners, Inc. in February 2019. Ryan oversaw Chrisland’s development, investment, and brokerage activities within 2534, a 542-acre master-planned community in Johnstown, Colorado—including sales of Chrisland-related properties to the A.G. Spanos Companies and Scheels All Sports. Affinity & Chrisland related entities have invested in and/or developed hundreds of millions of dollars of real estate, primarily consisting of apartment buildings, shopping centers, and land in the western United States.
Ryan has served on many non-profit and industry boards including serving as President of the Northern Colorado Commercial Association of Realtors, Chairman of the Board of the Larimer Humane Society, and Vice Chairman of the McKee Hospital Advisory Board. Ryan is the Chair-elect for the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He was also named to BizWest’s 40 under 40 list in 2008 and was named the 2018 Real Estate Entrepreneur of the Year by Colorado State University’s Everitt Real Estate Center.
Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, golfing, skiing, reading, and attending concerts and sporting events.
